R12 climbed up the highest mountain in Louth, Sliabh Foy with two experienced mountain climbers. It was very tiring but we enjoyed it.

This week we played spikeball in PE. Spikeball is a type of volleyball. There are two teams with six on each team. The aim of the game is to get as many points as you can. We had lots of fun.

Last week R11 did soccer training for P.E. First we got warmed up by doing some passing and moving. After we got into our teams for a match and we started to play. It was very fun and exciting.

In R8 we played dodgeball for PE and there was twelve students on each team. It was great fun.

Last Friday, 20th October, we were lucky enough to meet Andy McDonnell, captain of the Newtown Blues, winners of the Joe Ward Cup 2017. The boys had plenty of questions for Andy about GAA, his training and dedication to the his chosen sport. Hopefullly this will inspire our boys and we will see them return in years to come to share their stories of success.
For the past 5 weeks all of the sixth class have been going swimming in Integral Gym. There is a more advanced group and an easier group.
