As part of active week the boys from third and fourth class got to take part in a non contact boxing tutorial. The boys really enjoyed the class and many were delighted to experience the sport for the first time!
Today our fifth classes were lucky enough to receive some expert table tennis coaching. Amazingly we didn’t have to look too far for a top class coach with our very own caretaker, Stephen Dunne, providing the expertise! Stephen has been playing table tennis at an extremely high level for many years and has been passing on his wisdom through club coaching and our after school table tennis club. Have a look at Stephen putting some of our lads through their paces. We may even have unearthed some top class talent!!
The Green Code for our Biodiversity flag has been chosen!
“Biodiversity is the way, don’t let nature go astray. Be ‘biodiverse’ to our universe!”
This was a joint effort from Patrick in G6 and Marius and Darragh Rll. Well done lads!
The winners of the poster competition were Stephen R6, Daragh G6 and Powel R6. Three very talented artists!
Action from G1’s Active Stations yesterday! Well done to all the participants, you were brilliant, and a massive thank you to all the student and parent helpers!
