G1 had a great Sports Day in the sunshine! The traditional egg and spoon race was reinvented into the spoon and potato/onion race! Well done boys!

Water Safety at St. Joseph’s

All the students at St. Joseph’s attended and listened attentively to a Water Safety talk recently. One of the key messages the students learned is to NEVER SWIM ALONE. Always be supervised and be safe!

Unveiling of Mr O’Reilly’s Art

On Wednesday the 5th June , on the Third anniversary of the passing of Mr O’ Reilly, students, teachers, retired teachers and the family of Mr O’ Reilly gathered for the unveiling of a very special piece of artwork.

Local artist and past pupil, Mr Noel Kelly was commissioned to recreate on canvas one of Mr O’ Reilly’s iconic pieces of art.

Congratulations! to a 3rd Class student who won 5th place at the All- Ireland Community Games Handwriting Competition in Limerick recently.

We are all very proud of his achievement at St. Joseph’s. Well Done!
