Garda Sports Day In the O’Raghallaigh’s
St Joseph’s CBS took part in the Annual Garda Sports Day yesterday. It was a great day and all boys had lots of fun.
Flag Raising Ceremony
On Monday we celebrated the school receiving our 5th Green Flag and our first Active Flag. After raising the two flags, both committees enjoyed lunch in Scholars as a well deserved treat.
Chess club returns
Chess club has resumed in St Joseph’s for another academic year, with lots of new members. Good luck to all boys involved.

This year’s chess team. Well done boys on winning the Drogheda Chess Club, primary school tournament 2015.
Chess Club
Chess club has come to an end for this year and was a great success. St. Joseph’s overall school champion for 2015 was Sean Abarico 6th class in R10 Mr Tobin. Offical award cermony will be held on Tuseday 25th May in the Boyne Valley Hotel sponsored by Drogheda Chess Club.
