In G5 everyone in the class is doing a project. Everyone can pick their own project topic. The project has to be submitted by Tuesday the 6th of Febuary. We are enjoying doing the project.

G5 went swimming in Integral on Thursday the 11th of January. The swimming teacher didn’t show up but our teacher Ms. Lucey taught us. We had great fun swimming.

On Friday the 12th of January G5 went to The Drogheda Library. We picked out books for our class project and books to read ourselves. Then we read them on chairs. We had lots of fun.

Some boys from third and fourth class went to the TLT to see Beauty And The Beast. In the show there was a character called Gaston and there was Belle and many more characters. It was amazing and we all enjoyed the show.

All boys from 4th and 3rd class performed in a Christmas concert . Some people sang Christmas songs and others sang normal songs. G5 read A visit From St. Nick and sang What Do I Know by Ed Sheeran. We all had a great time and enjoyed the show.

On Wednesday the 20th of December our class went cooking. We made Malteaser biscuit cake and chocolate chip oat cookies. They were very yummy.

Every Thursday we did gymnastics for PE. There was 4 stations. We did cartwheels, handstands, flairs and crabs. We had lots of fun.

On December the fifth G5 went to the computer room to code to celebrate 50 years of children’s coding. To play the game you must guide your rabbit to get the carrots. We had fun playing the game.

In art we painted Sunset Silhouettes. We painted the sky first using purple, red, orange and yellow. We drew the outline of what we wanted to paint on the front and then we painted it black.
