Our 6th classes along with the help of Mr. Tobin and Ms. Carville have spent the last few weeks preparing our Online Assembly. The boys had great fun performing, dancing, interviewing, recording and editing the whole project!! We reported on all the happenings in St. Joseph’s since the beginning of the year including the opening of our first ASD class, GAA month, Maths Week and lots more!

We used green screen technology along with our Ipads to create some fun and interesting scenes.  Our school commuity can view it here on our website.

2nd Class G3 had some amazing Halloween costumes. Very spooky!!!

The school will close at 12 noon on Wednesday November 10th to facilitate staff in-service training. This date has been added to the Calendar on the Aladdin Connect app.

This week in G6 we have been busy collecting leaves from our school and transforming these into autumn art inspired by the Italian artist Giuseppe Arcimboldo. Arcimboldo used plants, fruits, nuts and seeds to create paintings of people.

The boys had great fun and showed real creativity to come up with fantastic portraits. Check out our pictures and video below.  

Well done to the boys in G6 who took part in GAA coaching with Mr. Carberry last week. The boys performed brilliantly and had great fun trying out a new sport.
