Covid 19 Update for Parents
Dear Parents,
We are very thankful for all the support you have given since we reopened in August. We have been working very hard since then to keep our school safe for the children and for the whole school community.
This week is crucial in order to do everything that we can so that pupils, families and staff can spend a happy healthy Christmas with their families.
Children must be kept at home if they are displaying any of the following symptoms
- Cough
- A fever of 38 degrees or above
- Shortness of breath
- Loss of taste or smell
If your child is experiencing any of these symptoms it is recommended that your contact your GP for further advice. Child may not return to school until they receive a negative test for Covid 19 or have been symptom free for 48 hours.
If your child experiences symptoms while at school, you will be contacted to come and collected your child and take them home as soon as possible. If your contact details have changed please inform the office on 041-9833620 at stjosephs.sungate@gmail.com.
On behalf of the Board of Management we wish you all a very happy healthy and safe Christmas and we hope that 2020 brings us all peace and hope.
Thank you for your cooperation
Is mise le meas,
Sarah Bradley
Principal.
