The boys began their 10k today in Park View as part of Active Week! Lots of fun was had by all.

Chess club has come to an end for this year and was a great success. St. Joseph’s overall school champion for 2015 was Sean Abarico 6th class in R10 Mr Tobin. Offical award cermony will be held on Tuseday 25th May in the Boyne Valley Hotel sponsored by Drogheda Chess Club.

We are holding a Non-Uniform Day tomorrow in aid of Special Olympics.  All students are asked to bring in €2 if they wish to take part.

Next week (May 25th – 29th) will be Active Schools Week in St. Joseph’s! We’ve arranged a number of activities to get everyone more active and more aware of their physical health! It’s sure to be a fun-filled week for students and teachers alike! “Fitness and Health is your Body Wealth!”

All the boys in the St Joseph’s choir are very busy preparing for the In Choir choral competition in the TLT this Tuesday. With special guest judge Bressie it promises to be a great evenings entertainment. COME ON THE JOEYS!!!

We used Tarsia Puzzles to do some Maths revision in class today.

Congratulations to all the involved in organising and supporting the inaugural Annual Coffee Morning last Friday. It was a tremendous success as a school community event and also proved to be a valuable fundraising exercise. Well done to all the performers who provided the fine variety of entertainment for the customers!

Sunflower time, sunflowers have began to grow in G6

Our school chess club was away today playing in a chess tournament and were very successful winning all their games. Well done to all boys involved.
